Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Celebrate Daughter Lilibet’s 4th Birthday With Magical Disneyland Trip
By Bentley Maddox – June 7, 2025
Princess Lilibet Diana truly had a fairytale celebration for her fourth birthday as her parents, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, treated her to an unforgettable trip to Disneyland.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex embarked on a two-day magical adventure at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, alongside their children — Lilibet and her older brother, Archie Harrison, who is now six years old. Meghan shared a joyful glimpse into the family getaway on her Instagram account on June 6, giving royal fans a peek into their private celebration.
In a heartwarming video clip, little Lilibet can be seen gleefully interacting with beloved Frozen characters Elsa and Anna. The young royal even held hands with Elsa, clearly enchanted by the ice queen’s charm.
But the excitement didn’t end there.
Meghan, sporting classic Minnie Mouse ears, appeared all smiles while sitting with Archie in front of Prince Harry as they prepared to brave the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure water ride. Another snapshot captured the family watching Archie’s fascinated expression as he stood before an army of stormtroopers at the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction.
Of course, Lilibet’s special day included a Little Mermaid-themed birthday cake. Meghan also posted a cheerful family photo of the foursome enjoying a riverboat ride, their faces lit up with smiles and joy.
And the parents didn't miss out on the fun either. Meghan and Harry were seen sharing a thrilling moment on the Space Mountain roller coaster, screaming and laughing like kids themselves.
To soundtrack her Instagram montage, Meghan chose Peggy Lee’s upbeat tune "It’s a Good Day," perfectly matching the cheerful atmosphere. The lyrics — “Yes, it’s a good day for singing a song / And it’s a good day for movin’ along…” — captured the spirit of the day beautifully.
In her caption, Meghan expressed heartfelt gratitude, writing:
"Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!"
Earlier this week, Meghan also commemorated Lilibet’s June 4 birthday by sharing previously unseen photos and a tender message dedicated to her daughter.
“Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives — and each day is brighter and better because of it,” Meghan wrote.
“Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!”
The birthday festivities were just part of a series of adorable family moments Meghan and Harry have shared recently. From garden days in April — where Meghan was seen bonding with Lilibet among blooming roses — to sweet photos of Archie examining flowers and playing outdoors, the Sussex family seems to be embracing a life full of love, nature, and togetherness.
In March 2025, Harry and Lilibet shared a touching moment aboard a boat ride, reinforcing their close bond as father and daughter. Valentine's Day saw Archie enjoying the occasion with fresh strawberries, while earlier in the year, Lilibet was spotted having fun with Meghan’s longtime friend, tennis star Serena Williams.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have always made it a priority to capture and cherish these personal moments with their children, giving fans a glimpse into their family life — away from royal duties and headlines.
From their 2019 royal tour in South Africa — where baby Archie met Archbishop Desmond Tutu — to early memories of Meghan reading "Duck! Rabbit!" to Archie on his first birthday, it's clear that Harry and Meghan treasure the quiet, meaningful times spent with their children.
As Princess Lilibet turned four, her Disneyland adventure wasn’t just a birthday trip — it was a celebration of joy, family, and memories that will last a lifetime.
