Major General Moses Gara, Force Commander of OPWS, personally oversaw the operation and praised the courage, commitment, and fighting spirit of the troops involved. He reaffirmed OPWS’s unwavering determination to pursue criminal elements wherever they may be hiding.
He credited the operational success to the strategic guidance and support provided by the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Gwabin Musa, and the leadership of the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
General Gara extended heartfelt appreciation to the Service Chiefs for their consistent provision of critical logistics, strategic direction, and inter-agency collaboration, which have been essential in sustaining military successes in the region.
